Once upon a time there was high quality cooked ham made with artisan processing using pork from Italian pigs bred in a traditional way ... and still is!

Today, let us introduce “Il 1922” High Quality Cooked Ham.

A small, selected high quality production made using the heaviest haunches, from 100% Italian pigs, with artisan
processing that follows the ancient family recipe.
 
The characteristic slow cooking takes place in traditional steam ovens. The brine used for flavouring is made from the infusion of whole spices including juniper, coriander seeds, nutmeg,… skilfully metered and blended to make the meat more delicate and aromatic.
